F/O G B Hoddle and crew were posted to 550 Sqdn on squadron start-up from 100 Sqdn "C" Flight w.e.f 25.11.43:

- F/Sgt E W O Hunt RNZAF (B/A)
- Sgt S G Hubbard (W/Op)
- F/Sgt J K Boothroyd (MU/AG)

The ORB records that F/Sgt Hunt (B/A) did not in fact fly any operations with the crew and his replacement for all of the crew's ops was:
Lancaster ED942/BQ-Q was flown by the F/O Hoddle crew when it was lost on 25/26 February 1944 on an operation to Augsburg. One member of the crew became a PoW the remainder were killed:
