Sgt Paxton was killed with the Jefferies crew when LM425 was lost on 30 March 1944. On that flight Sgt Paxton was standing in as a replacement F/Engineer for P/O Bull. P/O Bull of the Jefferies crew later flew a number of Ops with the Brawn crew as the replacement F/Eng.
