BBMF Petition

Petition

You may or you may not know that a petition has been started because there have been suggestions in the media that the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF), which celebrates the sacrifice of those who flew during the 2nd World War, could be cut in the next round of defence cuts.

The petition is on the 10 Downing Street Website, and there is an opportunity to add your voice to the petition. Please do 'sign' the petition if you have access to the Internet; the link is shown below:

The deadline for signing is 18 January 2011, and at the time of writing (31 January 2010) there are 5,794 signatures on the petition.

This looks like good news, but as ever it is probably best to keep a weather eye out ... especially in the post-election period!

Result
