P/O A G Elliott and Crew

The P/O Elliott crew was as follows:

L-to-R: P/O Elliot (P), F/Sgt Lund, F/Sgt Francis, F/Sgt Morley, Sgt Scully, Sgt Cassidy, Sgt Craigs

L-to-R: Neville Lund, Reg Francis, Alan Cassidy, Alan Elliott (P), Bob Morley, Bob Craig
The W/Op, Dennis Scully, may be the missing man.
Annotated "Winthorpe 1944" on the back, so is presumably from his time with 1661 HCU, but as it also appears to carry the signature of his pilot (P/O Allan Elliott). Thus assumed to be the Elliott crew.

Click image F/Sgt Bob Morely outside "The Nest". Location uncertain - may have been taken while at 1661 HCU or after posting to 550 Sqdn.

The "The Nest" looks like the same type of Nissan hut as in the crew photo above. On basis that cameras were not as commonly available then as now, and therefore opportunities for taking photos were few and far between, perhaps this photo was taken on or around the same time as the above photo. Furthermnore, a hut 174 cannot be found on the NK site map (NK Site map), so perhaps, on the basis of that and the annotation of the previous photo it is possible this photo is also from RAF Winthorpe.
Or we may simply never know for certain.
