Photos from Aircraft

There follow below various photos taken from aircaft while on operations. There are examples from various 550 crews and in various aircraft; in some case both are identified whereas in others there is no identification of the crew, the aircraft or the target landscape. Other examples show "bombs gone" or the ground target as the aircraft flies over.

These photos have become available from various sources and where possible these are acknowledged.

Reading the notes for that operation "Abandoned on instructions of Master Bomber" it is possible that this photo shows the Shaw crew jettisoning their bombs at sea (on abandonment of the operation).
